Bloomberg Terminal Break-down
Bloomberg Terminal enables real-time global data from news to research in one place. There are so many functions in Terminal that even if you work in Bloomberg you do not know all the functions. In other words, we gotta take only what we need.
Of course there are some fun functions like Bloomberg Billionaire Index (RICH) and the Real-time news ranking(TOP), but let’s only talk about these seven functions that are basic in finance.
It’s better to understand when we categorize them into 3 parts: equities, foreign exchange, commodities.

WEI can be used to capture the trend of global stock market and make comparison across regional sector. On WEI, you can get the comprehensive stock index information at macro level.
2. Foreign Exchange (FX)
FX Information Portal – FXIP
Here you’ll see all indicators related to foreign exchange market. Exchange rates, interest rates, key data, etc. The very next function, FXFC, is also accessible within this function.
FX Forecasts – FXFC
FXFC provides forecasts contributed by research analysts. You can see the numbers in quarterly or yearly projections.
